What is the Walk Against Malaria?
Walk Against Malaria is a high-impact nationwide advocacy and resource-mobilization initiative designed to raise awareness, mobilize resources, and strengthen community engagement for malaria prevention and elimination.
Led by the Uganda Parliamentary Forum on Malaria (UPFM) in collaboration with the National Malaria Elimination Division (Ministry of Health) and Children Voices Against Malaria, the walk brings together Government, Parliament, Development Partners, the Private Sector, Research and Academia, Civil Society Organizations, the public, and Ugandans in the diaspora.
Key Focus: All resources mobilized through this initiative are directed towards meaningful efforts that support and benefit communities in the fight against malaria.
